We are approached several times a week by customers who want to trace a 06 number. Although we would like to meet this demand, this is not possible in the Netherlands and Belgium. There are many cowboy stories about equipment that could track 06 number and put certain software on a mobile phone remotely. Without having had the mobile phone in hand to install spy software, this is not possible for the following reasons:

Tracing a mobile or mobile phone is actually only possible for private individuals after software has been installed on the mobile that they want to trace. You must therefore first have owned the mobile phone and put certain software on it before tracing is possible. The tracking is then done by a command after which the mobile phone turns on the GPS receiver to 'see' where that view is and then sends the location by text or internet.
