IP camera sets

IP camera sets consist of a recorder and one or more IP security cameras. The central point of these sets is the NVR. This network video recorder processes the images from the IP cameras that are connected and enables access from the outside, such as via a smartphone App.

When to choose an IP camera set?

An IP camera set is actually the best choice in most cases when you are looking for a camera system. A set has more applications than stand-alone cameras and, in particular, the storage options are much greater.

IP camera set which works wirelessly

Wireless IP camera sets are systems where the video transmission is via a wireless connection. This can be the Wi-Fi network, for example, but there are also sets that work wirelessly via an RF signal or Powerline adapters.

IP camera set which works wired

Wired IP camera sets are most commonly used in professional applications. Operating with cables instead of a wireless alternative is preferred especially by companies because of the stability and security.

Which IP camera models are there?

An IP camera set can be composed with one or more camera models. Each security camera model has different features and functionalities.

Dome model IP camera set

The dome IP camera is most often used in a set. This camera model is very versatile and a good choice in every situation. If this model does not meet the requirements due to a limitation in, for example, the viewing angle or night vision options, a different model is used.

Bullet model IP camera set

The bullet IP camera is regularly used in offices or homes where a situation must be properly mapped over a longer distance. For example, there are bullet security cameras that have up to 90 meters of night vision.

PTZ model IP camera set

The PTZ model IP camera is often added to a set as an extra camera. With this pan-til-zoom camera you can monitor the area yourself, but the system can also be set up so that when a certain camera detects movement, the PTZ IP camera will rotates automatically to give a more detailed image.
