The AJAX base station, called the Hub, checks at a certain interval whether a connection is still possible with the detectors.

Class 2 certification

Partly due to the Jeweler protocol, but also due to the 2 communication channels, this alarm system is one of the few wireless systems with a class 2 certification. Because the AJAX alarm systems have this certification, it is possible to pass this on to your insurance. Insurance companies can, however, set requirements for the design of the AJAX system.
