Dahua alarm system operation
The difference between the Dahua alarms and other alarm systems that work wirelessly is the two-way communication and the use of the Jeweler protocol. Where other wireless alarm systems are sensitive to interference and sabotage due to one-way communication, this is not the case with the Dahua alarm systems. The Dahua base station, called the Hub, checks at a certain interval whether a connection is still possible with the detectors.
Dahua class 2 certification
Partly due to the Jeweler protocol, but also due to the 2 communication channels, this Dahua alarm system is one of the few wireless systems with a class 2 certification. Because the Dahua alarm systems have this certification, it is possible to pass this on to your insurance company. Insurance companies can, however, set requirements for the design of the Dahua alarm system. For example, placing a back-up SIM card and connection to a control room is often required. Installation Dahua system
Because the Dahua systems work wirelessly, most people install it themselves. What needs to be done is the following:1. You connect the HUB to your router2. You screw the detectors to the desired location3. You set up the alarm system on your smartphone in the Dahua App4.
