Buying eavesdropping equipment legally?

Buying eavesdropping equipment is in principle legal in the Netherlands and Belgium, but in many cases the use is not permitted or limited. Eavesdropping equipment is for sale in many spyshops and even at marketplace and you can purchase a listening device for less than 100.00 euros.
