The 3-beam driveway detector, model PLUS, is a wireless detection system consisting of a receiver and two beam units with integrated solar panels. The beams emit three infrared beams and, if interrupted, send a wireless signal to the base station. Thanks to its long range of 100 meters between the beams and up to 400 meters to the receiver, this system is ideal for wide access roads, parking lots, or business premises.
How does the light barrier driveway alarm set work:
The beam units are positioned directly opposite each other and emit three infrared beams. If all three beams are interrupted simultaneously, for example, by a vehicle or person, a notification is sent to the receiver, which then emits an audible signal. Thanks to the 3-beam detection and LCD calibration, the system is extremely accurate and reduces false alarms.
