Driveway detector PIR iCamera SMART

This driveway detector PIR iCamera SMART from the Ajax systems brand is an IP54 outdoor motioncam on battery and wireless Hub 2 which is connected to your modem via an Ethernet cable or SIM card. When the outdoor motioncam detects movement you will receive a push notification on your phone with one or more photos.

How does the Driveway Alarm PIR iCamera SMART work:
The Hub 2 is the base station of the Ajax system. It can be connected to your router with the supplied Ethernet cable or fitted with a SIM card to connect to the internet. Then you install an App on your smartphone. Via this App you configure the outdoor motioncam and set how you want the system to work. The motion detector works on battery and sends a wireless signal to the hub with one or more photos. You then place the outdoor motioncam outside in the place that you want to secure. If you also want to hear an acoustic signal, you can expand the system with an indoor siren that has a bell function.

No monthly fees:
Unlike many alarm systems the Ajax alarm systems do not have monthly subscription costs. For example, the use of the App is free and any firmware updates are also included in the purchase price. Of course, any costs for using the internet and/or a connection to an external control room are not included in the purchase price.

Expanding the Driveway Alarm PIR iCamera SMART:
The Ajax system has many expansion options to make it a complete alarm system. Up to 100 detectors and up to 10 surveillance cameras can be connected to the SMART base station. See below under accessories the recommended expansions or contact us for a suitable proposal.

Wireless but secure:
Where other wireless alarm systems have the risk of jamming or disrupting the signal, the SMART alarm system from ajax systems has a special function for this. The communication between the Hub 2 and the detectors is namely 2-way. This means that every 12-300 seconds (self-adjustable) a check takes place whether the detectors are still responding. If a connection can no longer be made with this, the system will give an alarm message.
