Ajax Hub 1 Alarm System Black + IP Indoor Camera SMART

This Ajax Hub 1 wireless alarm starter kit SMART, black, is a complete, high-quality wireless alarm system made in the EU. It comes with a base station, PIR motion detector, magnetic contact, remote control, and a Wi-Fi indoor camera. 

How does the Ajax alarm system work:
The Hub is the central point of this Ajax alarm system with camera. This box connects to the power supply and to your router with a network cable. A SIM card can also be optionally inserted into the Hub so that an alarm can still be triggered if the internet signal is lost, allowing the system to be used in locations without internet access. The Hub connects wirelessly to the various battery-powered components. The wireless connection in this SMART alarm system uses the secure Jeweller protocol. This establishes a two-way connection between the base station and the components, increasing security. When a sensor sends an alarm notification to the base station, the Hub signals the siren to sound and simultaneously sends an alarm notification to you and any other users on your phone.

Install it yourself or have it installed?:
While this alarm system is easy to install yourself, you can also have it installed at your location. Setting up the Hub 1:
You configure the Hub and accessories to your desired settings using the smartphone app. This app, available in several languages, including Dutch, French, and German, guides you step-by-step through setting up the alarm system. Once you've fully configured the system, you can operate it via the same app or the remote control.

Operation of MotionProtect PIR motion detector:
The MotionProtect is a battery-powered, wireless PIR motion detector that sends a signal wirelessly to the hub when motion is detected. The motion detector has a detection range of up to 12 meters, three sensitivity levels, and is unaffected by pets weighing up to 20 kg and up to 50 cm tall.

Operation of DoorProtect magnetic contact:
The DoorProtect is a wireless magnetic contact detector that can be installed on a window or door. When the magnets separate, the DoorProtect sends a wireless signal to the Hub. Thanks to the powerful magnets, they can be placed up to 2 cm apart.

SpaceControl remote control operation:
The SpaceControl is a remote control for the alarm system. Besides buttons to arm and disarm the alarm, this remote also has an SOS button. When this button is pressed, the alarm will sound immediately, even if it's not armed.

Wireless but secure:
While other wireless alarm systems risk jamming or signal interference, the SMART alarm system has a special feature to address this. Communication between the Hub and the detectors is two-way. This means that every 12-300 seconds (configurable) a check is made to ensure the detectors are still responding. If a connection is lost, the system will trigger an alarm.

Optional: Inserting a (backup) SIM card:
Optionally, a SIM card can be inserted into the Hub so that an alarm can still be triggered if the internet signal is lost. We supply specific SIM cards for this purpose, which you can find under the "Accessories" section. This SIM card ensures that the system can still be used if the internet connection is lost or if you don't have a fixed internet connection at the location.

Expanding the Ajax alarm system:
The Ajax alarm system offers extensive expansion options. The Hub base station can connect up to 100 detectors and up to 10 security cameras. There are also various Hubs, each with its own features. How IP security camera works:
Thanks to the camera's integration into the app, you don't need separate applications to control your alarm system and dome security camera. When you receive an alarm notification, you can immediately see what's happening. The IP camera has an SD card slot so that footage is recorded when motion is detected and can be viewed and saved later.
