How does the PIR EASY driveway alarm work?
The wireless motion detector can be installed indoors or outdoors and has a range of up to 50 meters to the receiver. When motion is detected within an 8-meter range, the detector sends a signal to the receiver, which then emits a loud audible signal (configurable as a siren or doorbell). The set comes with screws, but both components can also be installed separately.
Battery-powered installation without cables
The motion detector operates on a standard 9V block battery, and the receiver on three C batteries (neither included). This makes the system completely wireless and ideal for locations without a power supply. The receiver automatically indicates when a battery, both its own and the detector's, is low.
