The latest generation of DVRs put an end to the problem of difficult settings before you can view the camera images on your smartphone or tablet such as an iPad. The internet DVR systems use a cloud plug and play service, which ensures that the dvr can be accessed via the internet or an app immediately after connecting the internet cable.

For other DVR systems, after it is connected to your router with a network cable, adjust the IP address of the DVR and open certain ports in your router. With this internet DVR, that is no longer necessary. The DVR will be directly accessible after the network cable has been placed via the App vMEyeCloud or via the website www.dvrcenter.net. Here you can log in directly via the serial number of the internet camera DVR. No further settings are therefore required to remotely access the DVR.

Besides the plug & play internet access, the options for remote access to the DVR are much more extensive than is the case with standard camera DVR systems. For example, the full DVR menu is available and there is no difference in configuration options between remote access and directly connecting the DVR to a monitor via the HDMI or VGA port.
