Ajax Hub 2 wireless alarm system Black SMART

This Ajax Hub 2 alarm starter kit Black, color white is a complete high-quality wireless alarm system made in the EU. This dual-band Hub 2 alarm system comes with a base station, PIR motion detector, magnetic contact and remote control.

How does the Ajax Hub 2 alarm system work:
The Hub is the central point of this Ajax alarm system. You connect this box to the mains power and to your router with a network cable or via Wi-Fi. It is also possible to optionally place a SIM card in the Hub so that an alarm can still be given if the internet signal is lost and the system can be used in places without internet. The Hub connects wirelessly to the various battery-powered components. The wireless connection for this alarm system is via the secure Jeweler protocol. This means that a two-way connection is established between the base station and the components, which increases security. When a sensor sends an alarm message to the base station, the Hub will signal the siren to go off and at the same time give you and any other users an alarm message on your phone.

Install yourself or have it installed?
Although this alarm system is easy to install yourself, you can of course also have the system installed at your location. We are happy to put you in touch with a specialized company, so that their experienced installers ensure proper operation, adjust the settings to your wishes and provide you with a detailed product explanation.

Setting up the Hub 2 Plus:
You set the Hub2 plus and the accessories to the settings you want via the Smartphone App. This App, which is available in various languages, including Dutch, French and German, guides you step by step in setting up the alarm system. Once you have completely set up the system, you can operate it via the same App, but also via the remote control.

Dual Band Wi-Fi:
Unlike other wireless alarm systems that only support 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi, you can also use the 5.8 Ghz band with this alarm system. Of course, with this SMART alarm system it remains possible to connect the hub to your router with an Ethernet cable or to use a SIM card.

4G/LTE support:
This hub supports speeds up to 4G and is therefore easier to use stand-alone than other systems that work on 2G.

MotionProtect PIR motion detector operation:
The MotionProtect is a wireless PIR motion detector that runs on battery and sends a signal wirelessly to the hub when motion is detected. The motion detector has a detection range of up to 12 meters, 3 sensitivity levels and does not respond to pets up to 20 kg and up to 50 cm high.

Operation of DoorProtect magnetic contact:
The DoorProtect is a wireless magnetic contact detector that can be placed on a window or door. When the magnet comes apart, the DoorProtect will send a wireless signal to the Hub. By using powerful magnets, these can be placed up to 2cm apart.

SpaceControl remote control operation:
The SpaceControl is a remote control for the alarm system. In addition to buttons to switch the alarm on and off, this remote control also has an SOS button. When this button is pressed, the alarm will immediately sound an alarm even if it is not armed.

Wireless but safe:
Where there is a risk of jamming or disrupting the signal with other wireless alarm systems, the SMART alarm system has a special function for this. The communication between the Hub and the detectors is 2-way. This means that every 12-300 seconds (self-adjustable) a check takes place to see whether the detectors are still responding. If a connection can no longer be established, the system will issue an alarm message.

Optional: Installing a (backup) SIM card:
It is also possible to optionally place a SIM card in the Hub so that an alarm can still be given if the internet signal is lost. We supply certain SIM cards for this purpose, which you can find under the accessories heading. This SIM card ensures that if the internet fails or if you do not have fixed internet at the location, you can still use the system.

Expanding the Ajax alarm system:
The alarm system has many expansion options. Up to 100 detectors and up to 10 surveillance cameras can be connected to the Hub base station. There are also various Hubs, each with its own capabilities. See the recommended extensions below under accessories or contact us for a suitable proposal.
