The recorder is designed for quick and easy installation without extensive networking knowledge. You connect the NVR to your router with the included network cable and connect the IP cameras directly to the PoE ports on the recorder. The NVR automatically detects Sitcon IP cameras, and thanks to ONVIF support, IP cameras from other brands can often be connected as well. The recorder provides both power and network connectivity via the same cable, eliminating the need for separate power supplies or PoE injectors.

Motion detection and 2TB hard drive

The 8-channel NVR recorder – PoE/UTP SMART comes standard with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive. The recorder is set to record on motion, starting a few seconds before the motion is detected. This ensures you always see the entire event. When the hard drive fills up, the oldest recordings are automatically overwritten. Combined with smart motion detection and the ability to use Full HD up to 5MP cameras, the larger 2TB storage capacity ensures you can typically store several days to weeks of footage, even when using multiple cameras.

Snapshots to the cloud (Dropbox)

In addition to local storage on the internal hard drive, the recorder can send snapshots to a Dropbox account when motion is detected. Watch live via app and computer
