The IR wireless camera set is now improved with wireless digital signal! Our product with number 7084 consists of a wireless outdoor camera with recorder and is purchased by many people to monitor their car or driveway, for example. The new wireless video signal has many advantages over analogue wireless signal, which we will discuss more in this post.
99% of the wireless camera sets work on the basis of analog signal on the 2.4 GHz frequency. The disadvantage of analogue wireless camera systems is that they are very susceptible to interference in different weather conditions and the intervention of a wall or other obstacle. Also, the wireless range is, to say the least, greatly overestimated by the manufacturers who often set this at 100 meters. In practice, this range appears to be only 10 meters with the intervention of, for example, an outside wall. However, many of these problems have been solved with wireless cameras with a digital connection between the camera and the receiver.
The advantages of digital wireless cameras over analogue cameras are:
- No trouble with interference
- Secure finding between camera and receiver
- Larger wireless range
- Better image quality

Wireless surveillance cameras with LCD receiver:
In addition to wireless security cameras that have a USB stick as a receiver, there are also wireless security cameras for sale where the receiver is a 7 inch screen with built-in SD card recorder. With this set the images are not recorded on a computer, but on an SD card that is in the 7 inch TFT screen. For many people this is the most user-friendly wireless camera set, because you do not need to know about computers and it is possible to use plug & play.

Cameras that also work via a wireless connection are IP WIFI cameras. Unlike the cameras described above, these do not work with a separate receiver, but these cameras connect via your wireless router. Read more about these IP cameras here: https://www.sitcon.com/blog/hoe-werkt-een-ip-camera/
