This U-Prox Hub 1 wireless alarm & camera kit PRO, white, is a complete, high-quality wireless alarm system made in the EU. It comes with a base station, PIR motion detector, magnetic contact, remote control, and an IP indoor camera.

How the PRO alarm system from U-Prox systems works:
The Hub is the central point of this alarm system. This box connects to the power supply and to your router with a network cable. A SIM card can also be optionally inserted into the Hub so that an alarm can still be triggered if the internet signal is lost, allowing the system to be used in locations without internet access. The Hub connects wirelessly to the various battery-powered components. The wireless connection in this PRO alarm system uses 256-bit encryption. This creates a two-way connection between the base station and the components, increasing security. When a sensor sends an alarm notification to the base station, the Hub signals the siren to sound and simultaneously sends an alarm notification to you and any other users on your phone.

Setting up the U-Prox Hub 1:
You configure the Hub and accessories to your desired settings using the smartphone app. This app, available in several languages, including Dutch, French, and German, guides you step-by-step through setting up the alarm system. Once you've fully configured the system, you can operate it via the same app or the remote control.

Operation of PIR motion detector:
The PIR motion detector is battery-powered and sends a wireless signal to the hub when motion is detected. It has a detection range of up to 12 meters, three sensitivity levels, and is unaffected by pets weighing up to 20 kg and up to 50 cm tall.

How magnetic contact works:
The wireless magnetic contact, which can be placed on a window or door, will send a wireless signal to the Hub when the magnets are separated. Thanks to the powerful magnets, they can be placed up to 2 cm apart.

Remote control operation:
Besides the buttons for arming and disarming the alarm, this remote control also has an SOS button. When this button is pressed, the alarm will sound immediately, even if it's not armed.

IP camera operation:
This security camera lets you monitor your indoor areas and receive notifications when motion is detected. Insert an SD card into the security camera to record video footage of any movement. You configure the IP camera by connecting it to your existing Wi-Fi network, all via your smartphone. Controlling the IP camera and changing settings is also easy via the app.

Wireless but secure:
While other wireless alarm systems risk jamming or signal interference, the U-Prox alarm system has a special feature to address this. Communication between the Hub and the detectors is two-way. This means that every 12-300 seconds (configurable) a check is made to ensure the detectors are still responding. If a connection can no longer be established, the system will trigger an alarm.

Optional: Inserting a (backup) SIM card:
Optionally, a SIM card can be inserted into the Hub so that an alarm can still be triggered if the internet signal is lost. We supply specific SIM cards for this purpose, which you can find under the "Accessories" section. This SIM card ensures that the system can still be used if the internet connection is lost or if you don't have a fixed internet connection at the location.

Expanding the U-Prox alarm system:
The alarm system offers extensive expansion options. The Hub base station can connect up to 100 detectors and up to 10 surveillance cameras. There are also various Hubs, each with its own features.
