This U-Prox Hub 1 wireless alarm & camera kit PRO, color white is a complete high quality wireless alarm system made in the EU. This alarm system comes with a base station, PIR motion detector, magnetic contact, remote control and IP indoor camera.

How does the PRO alarm system from U-Prox systems work:
The Hub is the central point of this alarm system. You connect this box to the mains power and to your router with a network cable. Optionally, a SIM card can also be placed in the Hub so that an alarm can still be given when the internet signal is lost and the system can be used in places without internet. The Hub connects wirelessly to the various battery-powered components. The wireless connection with this PRO alarm system uses 256-bit encryption. This means that a two-way connection is established between the base station and the components, which increases security. When a sensor sends an alarm message to the base station, the Hub will signal the siren to go off and at the same time give you and possibly other users an alarm message on your phone.

Install yourself or have it installed?
Although this alarm system is easy to install yourself, you can of course also have the system installed at your location. We are happy to put you in touch with a specialized company, so that their experienced installers ensure proper operation, adjust the settings to your wishes and provide you with an extensive product explanation.

Setting up the U-Prox Hub 1:
You set the Hub and the accessories to your desired settings via the Smartphone App. This App, which is available in various languages, including Dutch, French and German, guides you step by step with setting up the alarm system. Once you have set up the system completely, you can operate it via the same App, but also via the remote control.

Operation PIR motion detector:
The PIR motion detector works on battery and when motion is detected, it will send a signal wirelessly to the hub. The motion detector has a detection range of up to 12 meters, 3 sensitivity levels and does not respond to pets up to 20 kg and up to 50 cm high.

Magnetic contact operation:
The wireless magnetic contact, which can be placed on a window or door, will send a wireless signal to the Hub when the magnet separates. Due to the use of powerful magnets, they can be placed up to 2 cm apart.

Remote control operation:
In addition to buttons to switch the alarm on and off, this remote control also has an SOS button. When this button is pressed, the alarm will immediately sound an alarm even if it is not switched on.

Operation IP camera:
With this security camera you can monitor indoors with a camera and receive notifications if there is movement. When you place an SD card in the security camera, you can record images on it when there is movement. You set up the IP camera by connecting it to the existing Wi-Fi network and this is all done via your smartphone. Operating the IP camera and changing settings is also easy via the App.

Wireless but safe:
Where there is a risk of jamming or disrupting the signal with other wireless alarm systems, the U-Prox alarm system has a special function for this. The communication between the Hub and the detectors is 2-way. this means that every 12-300 seconds (adjustable) a check takes place to see whether the detectors are still responding. When a connection can no longer be established with this, the system will give an alarm message.

Optional: Placing a (backup) SIM card:
Optionally, a SIM card can also be placed in the Hub so that an alarm can still be given if the internet signal is lost. We supply certain SIM cards for this which you can find under the heading accessories. This SIM card ensures that if the internet fails or if you do not have a fixed internet connection at the location, you can still use the system.

Expanding the U-Prox alarm system:
The alarm system has many expansion options. You can connect up to 100 detectors and up to 10 surveillance cameras to the Hub base station. There are also different Hubs, each with its own possibilities. See the recommended extensions below under accessories or contact us for a suitable proposal.
