Technically, this listening module functions like a modified mobile phone. You insert a SIM card with call minutes (no data required), and the device automatically answers incoming calls. As soon as you dial the number on the SIM card, the module silently activates the microphone and you immediately hear live audio from the room. With sound detection enabled, the module can also automatically call you back as soon as it detects sound. All communication takes place via the voice network (2G, 3G, or 4G, depending on provider and coverage).

The module is fully integrated into a working power strip with no visible microphone openings, LEDs, or slots. All three 220V outlets and the two USB ports remain usable, giving the power strip a completely natural appearance.
