Ajax outdoor alarm PIR iConnect SMART

This Ajax systems outdoor PIR iConnect SMART alarm system is an IP66 outdoor motion detector and a wireless hub that connects to the internet via an Ethernet cable or SIM card. When the outdoor alarm system detects motion, you'll receive a push notification on your smartphone.

How does the outdoor alarm work:
The Hub is the base station for the Ajax outdoor alarm system. It can be connected to your router with the included Ethernet cable or fitted with a SIM card to connect to the internet. You then install an app on your smartphone. This app allows you to configure the PIR motion detector and set how you want the system to operate. The battery-powered motion detector sends a wireless signal to the hub when motion is detected. You then place the motion detector outside in the area you want to protect. If you also want an audible signal, you can expand the system with an indoor siren that has a chime function.

No monthly fees:
Unlike many alarm systems Ajax alarm systems have no monthly subscription fees. The app is free to use, and any firmware updates are included in the purchase price. Of course, any costs for internet access and/or a connection to an external monitoring station are not included in the purchase price.

Pet Friendly:
The system's SmartDetect algorithm prevents false alarms from animals weighing less than 25 kg and 80 cm tall. The PIR motion detector combo eliminates false alarms through the use of a FresnelTech optical component. Furthermore, the advanced radio frequency scanning filters ignore moving curtains and vibrating blinds, minimizing false alarms.

Expanding the Outside alarm:
The Ajax system offers numerous expansion options to create a complete alarm system. Up to 100 detectors and up to 10 security cameras can be connected to the Ajax base station. See the recommended expansion options under accessories below, or contact us for a suitable proposal.

Wireless but secure:
While other wireless alarm systems risk jamming or disrupting the signal, the Ajax alarm system has a special feature for this. Communication between the Hub and the detectors is two-way. This means that every 12-300 seconds (configurable) a check is made to see if the detectors are still responding. If a connection can no longer be established, the system will trigger an alarm.
