The Knoop camera smartphone set PRO is a monitoring set with a hidden knot camera and a pre-configured Android smartphone. The button camera is connected to the supplied smartphone via a cable, so that power and image run via one connection. You see the live image directly on your smartphone and can record and watch videos without complicated installation.

This set has been developed for observation and monitoring, where the camera is especially suitable for screen display. Consider following information on a monitor or display at a normal viewing distance. This model is generally less suitable for sharply capturing small text on paper, because the lens construction is primarily tailored to screen display and general image registration.

How does the Knoop camera smartphone set PRO work?

You connect the button camera to the supplied smartphone with the micro USB cable. As soon as you open the app on your smartphone, the live image appears and you can immediately start recording. The recordings are saved on the smartphone, so you can watch them immediately or transfer them to a computer later.

Suitable for screen display

The button camera is intended for discreet monitoring and is suitable for following screens. This works best at normal viewing distances and with sufficient ambient light. Reading small text on paper usually requires a different lens/focus structure; This set is less suitable for that type of application.

Watch remotely via PC or laptop

The supplied smartphone can provide the internet connection via SIM card or Wi-Fi. With the accompanying PC software you can then watch live remotely via a PC or laptop. Remote viewing via iOS devices or other smartphones is not supported. This is practical for longer monitoring or when you prefer to work on a larger screen.

Internet connection and SIM card use

To view remotely, the smartphone must have an internet connection via Wi-Fi or a SIM card with a data bundle. The smartphone provides the complete connection to the viewing server. Without an internet connection, local recording and review via the smartphone remains possible, but remote viewing is not available.

Viewing server and costs after the first year

A secure viewing server is used for remote viewing via PC. The first year of admission is included. You can then optionally extend the service for €99.95 per year including VAT. This is a pre-paid service without an automatic subscription. Extension is only necessary if you want to continue watching remotely; Local use with the supplied smartphone remains possible.

Optional Bluetooth communication earpiece

In combination with an optional Bluetooth communication earpiece, communication can take place during use. The earpiece connects to the supplied smartphone and is not included in the set. Please note: the earpiece does not have a built-in GSM function and always works via the paired telephone.

Customized smartphone solution

The supplied smartphone is specially set up for this button camera and equipped with the correct software. To maintain stability, we recommend not performing major Android system updates. Preferably disable automatic updates to avoid disruptions.

The smartphone is intended as part of this set. The preset configuration means you do not have to make any installations or technical settings and the operation remains as stable as possible.

Wear and place discreetly

The button camera is designed to be discreetly incorporated into clothing or accessories. For example, you can integrate the camera into a shirt, jacket, jacket, vest or bag. The button model ensures that the camera remains as inconspicuous as possible for bystanders during use.
