The shoulder/chest pack features a small camera built into it, connected to the included Android smartphone via a micro USB cable. This cable provides both power and data transfer to the camera. Sitcon has installed an app on the smartphone, allowing live images to be displayed immediately and video footage to be saved to the phone's memory. The smartphone remains discreetly tucked away in the pack, while the camera films through a discreet opening facing forward in the direction of travel.

By installing the appropriate app on a second Android smartphone as described in the manual, you can remotely view the bag camera's live footage. The included smartphone uses a SIM card or Wi-Fi to connect to the internet. Live viewing is also possible on a PC using special software. This is useful for longer observations or when several people want to view simultaneously.

Remote viewing via a secure viewing server

Remote viewing uses a secure remote viewing server from the provider in Taiwan. The first year of use of this remote viewing server is included. After this year, you can optionally renew the service for €99.95 per year, including VAT. This is a prepaid service with no automatic subscription. If you do not renew, local use via your smartphone will remain possible, but the option for remote live viewing will no longer be available.

Is it possible to use with your own smartphone?

The shoulder-chest camera is specifically designed for the included Android smartphone. It has the appropriate app, settings, and connection to the monitoring server. Therefore, direct connection to another phone is not possible. You can, however, monitor remotely using your own Android smartphone or a PC. There is no monitoring app available for iOS (iPhone).
