This bag surveillance camera set consists of a shoulder bag camera and an Android Smartphone. An App is installed on the phone that makes it possible to watch the images of the bag camera live from another smartphone or PC from another location. The images can also be recorded directly on the smartphone and viewed and played back on the screen.
How does the bag security camera smartphone kit work?:
The bag camera is connected directly to the supplied smartphone by means of a micro USB cable, which you can leave in the bag. The bag camera is powered by this USB cable and sends the images to the smartphone. We have installed an APP on the smartphone with which the images can be viewed directly and possibly recorded on the phone memory. Viewing from another location is possible by using certain PC software or by installing an App on another Android smartphone.
Watch live via an Android App:
When you install a specific App on a different Android smartphone than the one supplied, as stated in the manual, it is possible to watch the images of the bag camera live from that phone. You must then provide the smartphone of the bag camera with a SIM card or Wi-Fi to connect to the internet.
Watch live via a PC:
When certain software is installed on a PC as stated in the manual, it is possible to view the images from the bag camera live from that PC.
Remote viewing server costs:
For remote viewing, a server from the supplier is used, which is located in Taiwan. There are costs associated with the use of this server. The first year is free, but for subsequent years a fee of 99.95 per year incl. VAT is charged. This is optional and does not concern a subscription, but must be paid for before the end of the year if desired (pre-paid). The bag camera can also be used without the server after this year if you do not want to renew it, but remote viewing will no longer be possible.
Can I also use the bag camera on my own smartphone?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. We already supply a smartphone with this bag camera kit on which everything is installed and can be used immediately after purchase. However, it is possible to watch the images remotely on your own smartphone as long as it is an Android smartphone. There is no App available for iOS devices.
