c However, a certain app is required for some security camera systems. Because more and more people are in possession of an iPad, this is becoming increasingly important when choosing a surveillance camera set.
To view images from an analog camera system with an iPad:
Most surveillance camera sets consist of analogue (wireless) cameras and a hard disk recorder where the images from the cameras are recorded. The hard disk recorders have all been provided with a network connection in recent years, with which the recorder can be connected to the router and thus connect to the internet. It is also possible when a certain port in the router is opened to access the images from another location. When accessing the hard disk recorder from another location, it is often more limited than when it is accessed locally. When approaching the security camera recorder with an iPad, for example, it is often not possible to view the images but only to see the live images. A separate APP is also often required on the iPad, because the recorder's website uses ActiveX and an iPad does not support this. An APP that is widely used here is the iPad camera APP: MEye
All surveillance camera sets on the pages below that consist of a hard disk digital video recorder 4.8 or 16 channel all support viewing the camera images on an iPad or iPad. View our complete range of security cameras that can be viewed via the iPad here:
Making individual camera accessible via iPad:
With the above cameras it is assumed that there is 'fixed' internet, so via cable or ADSL. If there is no internet at the location, the images can only be viewed via the iPad using the 3G video server below. However, this is already possible with a separate surveillance camera and there is no need to place a recorder.

To view images from IP cameras with an iPad:
IP cameras are more geared towards approaching from an iPad or computer and when viewing the camera images often have extra options such as controlling the camera from the iPad. The images from IP cameras are also of better quality when viewed from an iPad or computer, because the transmission of the images via the internet is in a different format, with less loss of quality.
