With the arrival of Plug & play IP camera, an IP camera becomes a serious option for everyone to consider when you want to purchase a (new) security camera system. Where previously IP surveillance cameras were used more by people with a great knowledge of computers, with the Plug & Play installation this is also suitable for people with a limited knowledge of computers.

How does a Plug & Play IP camera work ?:
A Plug & Play IP camera uses a computer from the manufacturer to which the IP camera is connected during installation. Because this connection happens automatically you only have to go to the website of this manufacturer on your computer, iPhone, iPad, Android or other smartphone after installation to view the images. Often this is done by installing an APP where you enter the serial number of your IP camera and connect directly.
This means that you no longer have to set ports in your router yourself so that you can view the images live from another location. This caused problems for a large group of users, since opening and referring a router port is not always easy.
