On 12-01-2016 Sitconsecurity.nl was Nieuwegein at EditieNL on RTL4 with an item about alternatives to Pepperspray. The item addresses the exponential increase in demand for pepper spray and alternatives due to recent incidents in which women have been harassed. Normal pepper spray is prohibited in the Netherlands, but there are legal alternatives for sale, such as the paint spray in our webshop. 
Paint spray:
A much-sold alternative to pepper spray is foam spray or also called smurf spray. This canister contains very high pressure red or blue paint which foams when it hits a surface, such as someone's face. The paint is not corrosive, but the shock effect that is created gives the possibility to get away from the attacker and to alert the police. Furthermore, the paint is very difficult to wash, which means that a suspect remains easily recognizable to investigative authorities.
