Sports cameras are on the rise and more and more manufacturers, such as Kodak and Sony, are entering this market. Sportcams are compact video cameras that are specially made for filming during exercise. Sports video cameras can be subdivided into helmet cameras that can be worn on the head or on the helmet, pocket cameras for filming from the hand (point of view cameras) and underwater cameras for water sports enthusiasts.
