Ajax 4G 12 Volt Hub 2 Starter Kit White SMART

This white Ajax Hub 2 12-volt SMART alarm system comes with a 4G Hub 2 base station, a 12-volt power outlet, a magnetic contact detector, a remote control, and a PIR motion detector with a built-in camera. The addition of this MotionCam makes this alarm system even more comprehensive, as you can see the alarm status immediately in the image. This starter kit also includes everything you need to get started right away, but it can also be easily expanded.

How does the Ajax Hub 2 alarm system work:
The Hub 2 is the central hub of this Ajax alarm system. This box connects to an 8- to 12-volt battery and to your router with a network cable, or you can insert a SIM card. The sensors are battery-powered and connect wirelessly to the base station. You can attach the sensors to the desired location using the included screws or double-sided tape. Then, you configure the wireless motion detector with camera and magnetic contact to your desired settings via the Hub 2 smartphone app. You can then continue using the SMART alarm system using the remote control or the app. When a sensor sends an alarm notification to the base station, the Hub will signal the siren to sound and simultaneously send an alarm notification to you and any other users on your phone.

No monthly fees:
Unlike many alarm systems Ajax alarm systems have no monthly subscription fees. The app is free to use, and any firmware updates are included in the purchase price. Of course, any costs for internet access and/or a connection to an external monitoring station are not included in the purchase price.

Install it yourself or have it installed?
While this alarm system is easy to install yourself, you can also have it installed at your location. Setting up the Ajax Hub 2 alarm system:
You configure the Hub 2 and its accessories to your desired settings using the smartphone app. This app, available in several languages, including Dutch, French, and German, guides you step-by-step through setting up the alarm system. Once you've fully configured the system, you can operate it via the same app or the remote control.

Secure wireless connection
While other wireless alarm systems risk jamming or signal interference, the SMART alarm system has a special feature to address this. Communication between the Hub and the detectors is two-way. This means that every 12-300 seconds (configurable) a check is made to ensure the detectors are still responding. If a connection is lost, the system will trigger an alarm.

Operation of MotionCam PIR motion detector with camera:
The MotionCam is a wireless PIR motion detector with a built-in camera. The SMART alarm system, combined with this MotionCam, can send visual alarm notifications. Ideal for immediately seeing what's happening. The motion detector has a detection range of up to 12 meters, three sensitivity levels, and is unaffected by pets weighing up to 20 kg.

Operation Doorprotect magnetic contact:
The wireless magnetic contact detector can be placed on a window or door. When the magnets are separated, the magnetic contact detector will send a wireless signal to the Hub. Thanks to the powerful magnets, they can be placed up to 2 cm apart.

How Spacecontrol remote control works:
Besides the buttons for arming and disarming the alarm, this remote control also has an SOS button. When this button is pressed, the alarm will sound immediately, even if it's not armed.

Inserting a SIM card:
Optionally, you can insert a SIM card into the Hub so that an alarm can still be triggered if the internet signal is lost. We supply specific SIM cards for this purpose, which you can find under the "Accessories" section. This SIM card ensures that the system can still be used if the internet connection is lost or if you don't have a fixed internet connection at your location. You can also insert any other SIM card with internet access.

Expanding the Ajax alarm system:
The SMART alarm system offers extensive expansion options. The Hub 2 base station can connect up to 100 detectors and up to 10 security cameras.
