Battery life per power mode

The hub is fully battery powered and offers several power management modes:

– Normal mode: Approx. 2.5 months of operation with active status updates and communication with the Ajax Cloud.

– Power Saver Mode: up to 12 months of autonomy, through delay or temporary disabling of background communications.

This efficient battery life makes this hub particularly suitable for situations where no mains power is available and reliability is essential.

Power Saver Mode – Save energy without compromise

In special energy-saving mode, the hub reduces its energy consumption by contacting the Ajax servers less frequently. This allows the system to remain operational on battery power for longer. In this mode, app control is temporarily disabled to save additional power. The system can then only be controlled locally with a KeyPad or SpaceControl remote controlOnce the system is reconnected to mains power or removed from Power Saver Mode, app and cloud communication will automatically resume.

App notifications remain active when alarm is triggered

Even when the system is in Power Saver Mode and temporarily loses a live connection to the app, you'll still receive a push notification if an alarm occurs as soon as the hub wakes up. This allows you to quickly adjust settings or reactivate the system. This ensures effective security, even while saving energy.
