Wi-Fi direct: connect locally without a router

In addition to standard Wi-Fi connectivity, this camera also supports Wi-Fi Direct. This allows you to connect your smartphone directly to the camera's Wi-Fi signal, without the need for a router. This is convenient for use in locations without an internet connection, such as a barn, storage container, or horse trailer. Note: Wi-Fi Direct's range is limited to approximately 10 to 15 meters in open space and is affected by walls or metal partitions. Use without solar panel also possible

While a solar panel is optionally available for continuous charging, the camera also functions perfectly without one. You'll then only need to manually charge the battery via USB when it runs low after a few months. The battery status is easily checked in the app.

Because this camera operates completely wirelessly via Wi-Fi and battery power, it's also suitable for temporary applications such as monitoring in or around a horse trailer, mobile market stall, or food truck.
