This UTC connector allows you to access the OSD (On-Screen Display) menu of all UTC-compatible security cameras via the video cable (BNC). The advantage of this is that you can adjust settings while sitting at the recorder (DVR). Most security cameras have the OSD control button on the camera itself, so you'll need a monitor near the camera to adjust the settings, or you'll need an extra person to install the cameras.
The UTC controller works with all our security cameras up to 800 TV lines. If you're unsure whether your security camera supports UTC, we recommend checking with the manufacturer.
