Smoke detector mini camera Xtreme life ELITE (B)

The smoke detector camera (B) Xtreme life ELITE is a 4K camera built into the side of a dummy smoke detector with a very high capacity battery. The smoke detector camera can therefore be on standby for up to 90 days and film for up to 16 hours.

How to install the Xtreme life ELITE smoke detector camera:
In the smoke detector Xtreme life 4K camera a micro SD card with a maximum size of 128 GB (32 GB included) must be placed. Then you can set by following the steps in the manual whether the camera should record on motion or continuously and set things like date and time. The smoke detector camera can be placed with screws (not included).

Wide angle lens:
The smoke detector 4K camera has a side-facing lens. This allows this camera to be placed in a more angled position than the smoke detector camera with a downward-mounted lens.

Long battery life:
This smoke detector camera is very suitable for standalone operation due to the large battery capacity. For example, the Xtreme life smoke detector 4K camera can be on standby for up to 90 days on a full battery and can film continuously for up to 16 hours. The standby time decreases very quickly when films are made. In practice, with occasional video recording, the battery life will be a few days to a week and even shorter with a lot of movement. This can be compared to your mobile phone. When you make a video call for 15 minutes, the standby time will decrease by about 10%.

Play images:
Viewing the images is possible on any computer or smartphone that has an SD card reader. You remove the micro SD card, insert it into the computer or smartphone and with a standard media player the images can be played.

Adjust settings via SD card or monitor:
The Xtreme life smoke detector camera has an AV output that allows it to be connected directly to a TV or monitor to adjust the settings. It is also possible to adjust the settings via a text file on the SD card if you do not have a monitor with AV input.

Night vision:
The smoke detector camera is equipped with 940nm IR LEDs, which enable night vision of up to 5 meters in the dark without the IR LEDs being visible to the naked eye.

4K Ultra HD resolution:
This smoke detector camera is from the latest generation of mini security cameras which have a 4K Ultra HD resolution. This means that the camera can film with 2280 x 2160 pixels. By default, the camera is set to Full HD resolution to make optimal use of the inserted SD memory card.
