The Powerbank WiFi Camera Xtreme Life PLUS is made for situations in which you want to monitor temporarily and discreetly, without mounting, without cables and without being dependent on a socket. The device looks and functions like a normal power bank, but at the same time contains a 2K WiFi camera with which you can watch live and receive notifications via the app. Ideal for homes, office spaces, warehouses and also on the road, such as in a hotel room.

Where many hidden cameras have to run on mains power or have a small battery that runs out quickly, this Xtreme Life PLUS model combines a high battery capacity with smart detection. This means you can use it exactly when you need it: you use it as a power bank, set motion and sound detection and you will receive a notification as soon as there is activity.

Applications: home, office, warehouse, hotel room

In a home, this model is suitable for temporary control of rooms during absence, during work in the house or when several people have had access. In the office, it is practical for monitoring a workspace outside office hours, for example stock, files or equipment. In a warehouse, the combination of long standby and detection settings is useful for times when you do not want to place a fixed camera or there is no convenient power location.

This type of solution is also useful in a hotel room, because the device does not look “technical”. You simply use it as a power bank and only turn on the monitoring when you feel necessary. Always check yourself whether use is permitted in your situation and country.

Why this works better than a mains powered spy camera

A fixed (hidden) powered camera is suitable if you want it to remain permanently in one place and you can conceal the cable invisibly. Image quality and viewing angle

The camera films in 2K / QHD (4MP), which provides noticeably more detail than standard Full HD. This is nice for faces, actions and smaller objects at a shorter distance. Watch live and receive notifications via app

You connect the camera to the Tuya / Smart Life app (iOS/Android). After installation you can watch live, review recordings and adjust settings. Notifications of movement or sound are received as a push notification. A WiFi network is required for use on location; 2.4 GHz WiFi is the standard and normally requires no adjustments to your router settings.

Recording on microSD and loop recording

The recordings are stored on a microSD card (up to 128 GB). Loop recording allows the system to automatically overwrite older footage, eliminating the need to manually clean up. This is useful for longer periods of standby monitoring, especially if you mainly work on detection.

Battery life and battery usage

The built-in 10,400 mAh battery is designed for long-term use in detection mode. The actual duration depends on how often recording takes place, how often you watch live and how active the environment is. In quiet situations, this model can remain on standby for a long time and yet immediately “wake up” when there is activity.

Night vision and low light use

The Powerbank WiFi Camera Xtreme Life PLUS does not have infrared night vision (IR). This means that the camera cannot take images in complete darkness. Usable recordings always require some form of ambient light, such as street lighting, a night light or residual lighting in the room.

In situations with dim light or minimal lighting, the camera performs well, but for completely dark spaces we recommend a model with explicit infrared night vision.

Dimensions and format

The power bank has the size of a regular high-capacity power bank and is therefore not noticeable in daily use. The dimensions are approximately 17.2 × 7.8 × 2.3 cm and the weight is approximately 300 grams.

Installation in brief

The installation is intended to be plug-and-play. You charge the device, insert a microSD card and connect it to the app. Then you set up detection, notifications and recording behavior.
