This EASY motion alarm is a complete wireless security system consisting of a base station with a built-in keypad and a wireless PIR motion sensor. You insert any SIM card into the base station so that the system can call you or send a text message to up to 6 programmed phone numbers in the event of an alarm.
How does the motion alarm work?:
You mount the PIR motion sensor on a wall or ceiling using the included floating base. When the sensor detects motion, a notification is sent to the base station. Depending on the settings, the base station will beep, sound a siren, or remain silent. A notification will then be sent to the programmed phone numbers via the SIM card. The first number can be called and receive a text message, and the other numbers can also receive a text message. The alarm can then be switched on and off from your phone.
Setting the motion alarm:
The base station has a display and keypad where you can access the alarm menu. Here you can adjust certain settings and add sensors and other accessories. You can also activate or deactivate the alarm via the keypad with a code.
Placement of the base station:
The base station can be mounted on a wall, or placed out of sight in a drawer or similar location. However, the base station must be powered using the included adapter and placed within 50 meters of the magnetic contact.
Operation of wireless motion detector:
The PIR motion sensor can detect motion from up to 12 meters away, both day and night. When motion is detected, a signal is sent to the base station.
