This calculator with built-in voice recorder can record up to 46 hours of continuous sound on the internal rechargeable battery and stand by for up to 75 days. The recorder is of high quality and can therefore be used well to record sounds in an entire room, but can of course also serve as a personal dictaphone.
How does the calculator voice recorder work:
The calculator is from the Canon brand and has all the functionalities that a regular calculator also has. There is a small hole on the side of the calculator. When you want to start recording, poke a pin in the hole and the recording will start within 4 seconds. There are no lights or the like that indicate the operation of the voice recorder during recording.
Playing recorded files:
To play the recorded files, connect the calculator recorder to the Windows or MacOS computer which will recognize it as an external hard drive and display a folder of files. The recorded sound files are saved as .Wav and can be played on any computer.
