Viewing IP camera images on a mobile phone is now possible on all ip camera systems, so that direct monitoring can be carried out at any location via your mobile. However, a certain app is required for some security camera systems. Because more and more people are in possession of a smartphone, such as an iPhone, Android or Blackberry, this is becoming increasingly important when choosing an IP security camera set. 
To view images from an analog camera system with a mobile phone:
Most surveillance camera sets consist of analogue (wireless) cameras and a hard disk recorder where the images from the cameras are recorded. The hard disk recorders have all been provided with a network connection in recent years, with which the recorder can be connected to the router and thus connect to the internet. It is also possible when a certain port in the router is opened to access the images from another location. When accessing the hard disk recorder from another location, it is often more limited than when it is accessed locally. For example, when approaching the security camera recorder with a mobile phone, it is only possible to view the images from 1 camera at a time. A separate app is also often required on the smartphone, because the website of the recorder uses ActiveX and not all mobile phones / smartphones do not support this, but a clear manual is provided on how to set this up.

IP cameras are more geared towards approaching from a mobile phone or computer and when viewing the camera images often have extra options such as controlling the camera from the mobile phone. The images from IP cameras are also of better quality when viewed from a mobile phone or computer, because the transmission of the images via the internet is in a different format, with less loss of quality.
