When securing your horse and / or stable with an alarm system, it mainly depends on how far away your horse and / or stable is from your home. If this is more than a hundred meters, then you will have to choose a system that works with a SIM card to pass on the alarm. If the house is within 100 meters, it is possible to choose a system that sends the alarm signal wirelessly. For example, there are different ramp indicators for sale which, depending on the model, draw a certain line or detect movement and then give a signal to the base station. With these systems you will therefore be informed immediately if someone enters a certain path.

When protecting your horse and / or stable with a camera, it is important whether there is Wi-Fi signal and power present at the place where the camera should be installed. Wireless cameras have a maximum range between the camera and the receiver of about 50 meters and are therefore usually not suitable. Wi-Fi cameras, on the other hand, can send a push notification via the Wi-Fi network of movement that you receive on your mobile phone. When there is no Wi-Fi connection, there are security cameras that work on a SIM card and transfer the images via 3G. These can also give a push notification on your mobile phone, but you must ensure that the SIM card in the camera has sufficient credit. There is a camera available for the field where the power supply is controlled by a battery and solar panel.
