The blackbox Wi-Fi surveillance camera PLUS is a stand-alone camera that can work with both the supplied adapter and a rechargeable battery. The Blackbox camera has an SD card slot where an SD card up to 400 GB can be inserted (not included) and the images can be recorded continuously or on movement. The blackbox camera also has an IP / Wi-Fi module with which you can connect directly to the Blackbox IP / Wi-Fi camera via Wi-Fi, but the images can also be viewed from another location using Cloud technology.
How does the Blackbox camera IP / Wi-Fi work:
The IP blackbox camera has a micro SD card slot where up to a 400 GB SD card (not included) can be placed. The images will be recorded continuously or on movement on this SD card. Then you download an APP mentioned in the manual on your Android or iOS phone. When you now turn on the blackbox camera, it will create a new Wi-Fi network. You can then connect directly to that Wi-Fi network in your phone. Then you open the APP and now connect directly to the IP blackbox camera. You can now adjust the recording settings and connect the IP blackbox to the Wi-Fi network present in the room. You will need the password for this if you want to access the IP blackbox camera remotely. When the IP blackbox has successfully connected to the existing Wi-Fi network, you can view the live images and download the recorded images directly from another location via your iOS or Android smartphone.
8 hours of continuous battery operation:
The IP Blackbox camera has a rechargeable li-ion battery that can film up to 8 hours. It is also possible to connect the IP blackbox with the supplied adapter to film continuously.
Up to 30 days standby time:
By setting the stand-alone surveillance camera to motion detection, the PIR sensor can achieve up to 30 days of standby time on a full battery. When the PIR sensor detects movement, the WiFi camera will turn on and start filming. Furthermore, this IP blackbox camera can send a push notification to your smartphone when movement is detected and when you click on this push notification, the recorded video will be played immediately.
Longer battery life possible:
If you want to film longer than the internal battery supports, it is also possible to connect a special 5V battery pack to the black box camera. Under the TAB 'accessories' you will find the specially adapted battery pack.
400GB SD card support:
The IP blackbox camera supports up to 400 GB SD card. Depending on the chosen resolution, this allows you to film for at least 60 hours. SD cards for this IP blackbox camera can be ordered under the TAB accessories.
