Works on 2.4 GHz WiFi – standard on almost every router

This Blackbox Wi-Fi camera operates on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. This is the standard frequency supported by virtually all routers. You don't need to adjust any settings on your router. Simply entering your Wi-Fi password in the app is enough to connect instantly.

Monochrome motion detection with extremely low power consumption

The Blackbox Wi-Fi camera (B) PLUS uses a special monochrome motion sensor with its own detection lens, separate from the film lens. This sensor analyzes only contrast changes in light and dark, consuming significantly less energy than traditional detection techniques.

Because this technology isn't heat-dependent, motion detection works reliably through glass. This makes this mini Wi-Fi camera ideal for use on a windowsill facing the garden or driveway, in a shop window facing the street, or in a car to detect parking problems, damage, or scratches.

This model has been manually modified by Sitcon to allow filming through glass, even in the dark, without reflection issues. No visible infrared lighting is used. This eliminates the red glow or flashing light, making the camera completely unobtrusive to bystanders.

Installation and use without technical barriers

After this one-time setup, the camera operates completely independently. Without Wi-Fi, all recordings are stored locally. With Wi-Fi, you'll receive notifications and can watch live.

The internal battery provides approximately 8 hours of continuous recording or up to 30 days of standby time when using motion detection. For extended use, such as while on vacation, you can leave the camera connected to a USB charger. This keeps the system running continuously without interruption.

Recording images and sounds

The camera has a built-in microphone, which records audio as well as video. You can even listen in live via the app when using Wi-Fi. This provides additional context for events when reviewing them later.
