This complete Ajax roller door and garage door alarm system SMART set is specifically designed to reliably secure roller doors, overhead doors, and garage doors. The combination of the Ajax Hub 1, Ajax DoorProtect, and a robust angled magnetic contact ensures immediate detection as soon as a door is opened. Protect your roller door or garage door against burglary

The included industrial magnetic contact is suitable for mounting on metal roller doors, overhead doors, and heavy garage doors. This magnetic contact connects to the wired input of the Ajax DoorProtect. As soon as the door is opened and the contact is broken, the DoorProtect immediately sends a wireless signal to the Ajax Hub.

You'll receive a push notification through the app within a fraction of a second, letting you know immediately that a door has been opened. Optionally, an indoor or outdoor siren can also be activated automatically.

How do you connect the magnetic contact?

The industrial magnetic contact is connected with two wires to the EXT and GND terminals of the Ajax DoorProtect. As soon as the roller door opens and the contact is broken, the DoorProtect detects this and sends the signal wirelessly to the Ajax Hub.

The Hub immediately processes the signal and sends a notification via the app. Any configured actions, such as activating a siren or activating a scenario, are executed automatically.

Communication via internet and SIM card

The Ajax Hub 1 connects by default via a wired internet connection (Ethernet). The Hub also has a SIM card slot (2G). In the event of an internet outage, the system automatically switches to mobile data, so you always continue to receive notifications.

This makes this set very suitable for garages, sheds, storage units and business locations where no fixed internet connection is available.

Control via app – even without technical knowledge

The free Ajax app for Android and iOS offers complete control over the system. You can arm and disarm the alarm, view notifications, set up scenarios, and manage users. The app is clear and intuitive, making it easy for even non-technical users to operate the system.

Multiple users can be granted access with their own permissions. Ideal for families, businesses, homeowners' associations, or rental properties.

Expandable with siren, remote control and additional detectors

This set forms a solid foundation for a complete alarm system. The Ajax Hub supports up to approximately 100 wireless devices. You can expand the system with additional DoorProtect sensors, motion detectors, wireless indoor and outdoor sirens, keypads, and remote controls.

This means the system can easily scale to larger buildings or multiple access points.
