Ajax garage door alarm – Set with magnetic contact

This complete set is designed to secure roller doors, garage doors, or overhead doors. The combination of the Ajax Hub 1, Ajax DoorProtect, and a robust angled magnetic contact ensures reliable detection as soon as a door is opened. Thanks to wireless communication and the free Ajax app, you'll receive an immediate notification on your smartphone. The system works both online and with a SIM card, so you're protected even without a fixed internet connection.

Protect your roller door or garage door against burglary

The included industrial magnetic contact is suitable for mounting on metal doors and connects to the wired input of the Ajax DoorProtect. When the door is opened, the contact breaks. The DoorProtect detects this and wirelessly transmits the signal to the Ajax Hub. This way, you receive an immediate notification of the incident via the app.

How do you connect the magnetic contact?

The magnetic contact is connected with two wires to the EXT and GND terminals of the Ajax DoorProtect. As soon as the roller door opens and the contact is broken, the DoorProtect sends this information wirelessly to the Ajax Hub. The system immediately processes the signal and performs any configured actions, such as sending a notification or activating a siren.

Expandable with siren, remote control and additional detectors

This set forms the perfect foundation for a complete alarm system. You can expand it with additional sensors, wireless indoor or outdoor sirens, or remote controls. The Ajax Hub supports up to 100 wireless devices, making it suitable for both residential and business applications.

Communication via internet and SIM card

The Ajax Hub 1 connects to the internet via Ethernet. As an additional backup, the hub supports a SIM card (2G). In the event of an internet outage, the system remains operational, and notifications are sent via the Ajax app using mobile data. This ensures reliable notifications at all times, even in locations without a permanent internet connection.

Control via app and multiple users

The free Ajax app for iOS and Android offers complete control over the system. You can arm and disarm the alarm, view notifications, and manage users. Multiple users can be granted access with their own permissions and codes. This also makes the system suitable for shared use within a family, business, or homeowners' association.
