A WiFi camera is an IP camera that connects to the internet via an existing WiFi network. A WiFi camera therefore does not need a cable to transmit the video and audio signal. Alternative to a wifi camera:
A good alternative to wifi cameras are wireless camera sets that use a digital signal. These camera sets consist of a camera and a monitor that connect directly to each other. These can therefore be used at a location with or without WiFi. The advantage of this technique over WiFi is that you also have a monitor for viewing the images. The further applications, such as viewing the images from another location and recording on an SD card, are also present on the wireless camera sets.
