Sitcon.nl in item 'spying on your child' at Editie NL

On 11 May 2011, our colleague Ronald from our location in Nieuwegein was interviewed by people from RTL Editie NL concerning an item about spying your child. The possibilities for monitoring and controlling especially the internet behavior of children were discussed here. Spying on your child can actually be subdivided into 2 options, one of which you afterwards look for the unwanted activities and the other option is that you start spying from a certain moment and then keep an eye on your child in real time.


Spying afterwards:
For a long time, spying afterwards was only possible to a very limited extent by checking the internet history and the trash, for example. With the launch of various forensic sticks from the manufacturer Paraben Sticks, it is possible to spy a lot further for, for example, pornographic photos, chat history and files deleted from the trash.

Real-time spying:
Instead of spying your children afterwards, it is also possible to do this live. By installing certain spyware or keyloggers, all actions such as visited websites and keystrokes will be saved and, depending on the type of espionage software, will be forwarded to a set e-mail address.
