How does the approach to a security camera via the GSM work ?:
The security camera must be connected to a network with a network cable or via the WiFi connection. This can be the network in your home or office, for example. The security camera connects to the internet via this network, so that the security camera can be accessed via a mobile phone from another location. In practice, this means that you can watch what happens at home, for example at work.

APP for viewing the security camera images via your GSM:
To view the images from the surveillance camera on your iPhone or Android mobile phone you must install an APP. Watching directly via the Safari or Google Chrome browser is not possible because of the format of the video. With an APP this is possible and these can usually be downloaded in the Google Play store or in iTunes.

Plug & Play surveillance cameras:
The latest models of surveillance cameras that can be banished via the mobile phone use a Plug & Play technique. This means that the manufacturer of the surveillance camera makes a server available to which the surveillance camera connects automatically. The APP then makes an ok connection to this server and you immediately have the images on your mobile phone. Setting a port that you must forward is therefore no longer necessary here.

New: 3G / 4G surveillance cameras:
The latest developments in the field of surveillance cameras that can be viewed via your mobile are cameras that work on a SIM card. This allows you to place these surveillance cameras in a place where there is no (WiFi) internet connection. These 3G / $ G security cameras are therefore very suitable to place in for example a holiday home, boat etc.
