With the arrival of the new GNSS module from uBlox, it becomes possible to create track & trace systems that can receive signals from different satellite systems. This makes it possible to make GNSS trackers which can receive signals from the American GPS satellites, Russian Glonass, Chinese Beidou and also uses SBAS.
Benefits of GNSS tracker compared to GPS trackers: The use of the different satellite reception options will make the GNSS trackers and track & trace systems even more accurate and can be used in more places. For example, there will be a valid location calculation in more places where no the message no GPS fix will be given. It does because the signals from the different satellite systems can be used together and can therefore be combined. The dependence on the American GPS system will also decrease as a result.
The GNSS module that can be used for trackers and tracking systems and not much larger than the normal GPS module and the use of this new GNSS module will therefore not affect the dimensions of trackers.
