Most of the Elro cameras that are offered for sale work wirelessly. Although this has many advantages, especially in terms of installation, it has some disadvantages compared to stability and quality. Because in Europe no camera systems may be sold that transmit more than 10 MW, the transmission distance of Elro cameras is very limited in practice and the receiver or recorder of the Elro camera must be close to each other. There are already digital surveillance cameras of which a frequency is, as it were, agreed between the surveillance camera and recorder, which considerably increases the distance. Elro IP cameras:
In addition to wireless cameras, there are also cameras from the elro brand that work on IP technology. This means that the camera connects to your network via your router or Wi-Fi connection. If you want to buy an Elro, this is best done in a store where a seller is present who specializes in Elro cameras and can also issue advice based on your wishes. This seller can give advice on whether it is possible to hang the Elro camera at the location that you want and whether, for example, you can use multiple wireless Elro cameras at the same time. A separate vendor is not present in most hardware stores and you need to select an Elro (IP) camera system based on the description given.
